Well… what a milestone for this site huh?
I started this website on March 10, 2007 with the idea of making it easier for the regular backyard griller and smoker.
Give the regular guy or girl the information to make lip-smacking barbecue and let them do their stuff.
Your emails and comments have proved that this has worked. I never advertised this site and had visitors from all over the world.
That is surprising to me.
I spent a year with my wife putting together the video recipes. They have been used as a resource material over and over again. It’s been loads of fun and I learned a few things along the way too.
I want to give my sincere thanks to my Wife “Lil’Iron”,
my great animal companions , Riley, Steinway,Charlotte and Gypsy,
along with everybody that has stopped by and added depth to the flavor of this site.
Here’s looking forward to the next 40,000..

I looked the other day and you was up to 38,000. you got a lot of hits (lots of them mine too) in a very short time. The reason we come to this site is because you cook normal food for the average person. I do watch a lot of food shows, but most food I see I cant even spell let alone cook, or even want to at that. You are one of us, not some fancy gourmet chef with bad accent. We tip out hats and our drinks to you. No matter what question I ask, and you know I ask a lot you always take the time to answer. We applaud this site and we do appreciate all the hard work you and LilIron have put into it.
